Occupational profiles of graduates with examples
Optometrists are vision care specialists. They have expertise in the core studies in the eye examination and eye disease screening. They sell, glaze and repair spectacles and fit contact lenses and low vision aids. They work as an optometrist in optician shop or in the hospital in the private sector or in the public health care or in the wholesale side of the optical industry.
Access to further studies
Access to Master’s Degree studies at university of applied sciences or university: Master of Health Care in Optometry.
Examination regulations, assessment and grading
Examination regulations, assesment and grating are specified in the course implementation plan. The teacher in charge of the course will be responsible for the assesment. Student will be informed at the beginning of the course on the assesment principles, wich must be based on the cource objectives.
