Profile of the programme
European Business Administration is a unique Bachelor's double-degree programme that is taught in cooperation with foreign partner universities. Students study one year at our partner university and will be awarded a degree from both Metropolia Business School and our partner university.
The programme emphasises strategic thinking and ways to use it in real life situations. The work placement is a very important part of studies and so is the Bachelor's Thesis. International elements are everywhere; international lecturers, multicultural classrooms and a full year of studies in our partner institution will prepare the student fully for taking on the challenges of the modern business world. Graduates are confident, effective team players with good hands-on business know-how and practical skills.

The European Business Administration programme concentrates on the core competencies in international business (economics, law, marketing, communication, management, IT and European related topics).

Examination regulations, assessment and grading
According to the Degree Regulations of Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences course assessment criteria are specified in the course implementation plan. The teacher in charge of the course will be responsible for the assessment. At the beginning of the course, students must be informed on the assessment principles which must be based on the course objectives. Assessment takes primarily place for each course and applies to the students who have registered and been accepted on the course. If necessary, different components of a course may be assessed individually. If the course consists of several components, the teacher may point this out in the assessment principles contained in the implementation plan.
The assessment scale is as follows: excellent (5), very good (4), good (3), very satisfactory (2), satisfactory (1), fail (0) and pass (P). Any deviations of this scale will be decided by the President.

210 ECTS credits to be completed according to the curriculum.
