Objective

The student
• knows the key concepts and terminology and masters the fundamentals of 3D animation
• is able to implement short animations
• can identify potential contexts for 3D graphics
• knows the methods of real-time 3D graphics and is able to prepare material for real-time applications
• is able to implement interactive elements and understand the principles of programming.

• General principles of animation
• Basic concepts and terminology of 3D animation
• Tools and methods of 3D animation
• Rendering of 3D animation
• Producing 3D material for real-time graphics
• Implementing interactive features
• Implementing a small real-time application
