Objective
Learning outcomes:
The students understand the importance of therapeutic occupation and continuous assessment as part of the occupational therapy process and enabling participation in the performance areas. The students critically assess the implementation of occupational therapy. The students understand the importance of multiprofessional cooperation and multidisciplinary information in enabling the client`s occupational performance. The students are practicing summarizing the effects of the client's occupational therapy and the progress of occupational performance. The students prepare recommendations and guidelines to advance occupational performance, participation and health, as well as to prevent problems of occupational performance. The students make a recommendation for further rehabilitation. The students know the most common mental disorders, the background factors affecting them, as well as research and treatment.

Prerequisites:
Before attending the course, the students must have competence from the following courses: Assessing Occupational Performance 2, Enabling Occupational Performance 1.
