Objective
The students are able to:
• identify the older person’s position from the points of view of linguistic and cultural minorities, disability, sexual orientation and gender diversity
• describe ways to encounter an older person with a disability in different ways
• identify the importance of different cultures in the lives of older people and in the use of services
• identify sexual orientation and gender diversity as part of older people's identity
• find solutions to support good old age and inclusion of different older people
Content
• diversity of older people in services
• the status and rights of diverse older people
• cultural sensitivity
• methods that support communication and clear communication
• disability in old age such as intellectual disability, sensory disability, physical disability
• sexual orientation of the older people and gender diversity
