Specific admission requirements
All applicants who have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field are eligible to apply.
In addition, applicants are required to have two years of work experience in the field of live performance engineering or other relevant field, accumulated after the completion of the bachelor's degree. The work experience has to be acquired after the date of graduation and before the 31st of July on the year of applying for Master's studies.

The Master's Degree Programme in Live Performance Engineering strengthens and further develops the expertise and professional skills of the student and the organisation in the operating environment of the live performance sector. Graduates of the master's degree programme are able to utilise their expertise in the design of production processes, in technological-artistic management and in the development of operation and expertise of an organisation. The education also enables the professionals in the field to find alternative career paths in the constantly changing industry.

Examination regulations, assessment and grading
Course assessment criteria are specified in the course implementation plan. The teacher in charge of the course will be responsible for the assessment. Each course has its own assessment criteria that are specified in the curriculum.
The assessment scale is as follows: excellent (5), very good (4), good (3), very satisfactory (2), satisfactory (1), fail (0) and pass (P). Any deviations of this scale will be decided by the President.
Graduation requirements
In order to graduate, studies must be completed according to the curriculum of Master's Degree Programme in Live Performance Engineering and the general qualification requirements.
Mode of study
The studies are implemented through blended teaching, which includes both contact and online teaching, and various development assignments carried out in working life.

Workplacement(s) and Work-based Learning
The studies are carried out as development and learning projects that are linked to the development challenges of the job sector. The master's level degree does not include work placement.
Students work in various organisations, and they have a minimum of two years of work experience prior to Master's degree studies. Master's thesis is a development project in which solutions are sought for the challenges in the students own work and/or those of a collaborative organisation.
The Degree Programme in Live Performance Engineering collaborates with theatre and event industry partners to develop and carry out teaching in the degree programme.
Obligatory or Optional Mobility
The possibility of a student exchange during the Master's degree can be negotiated.
