Objective

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to
• identify key concepts of organisation theory.
• acquire and apply information regarding the development of a technological-artistic organisation.
• take into account diversity in the workplace and apply principles of equality.
• promote activities that support well-being within a work community.
• acknowledge diversity management themes in a technological-artistic work community.
• identify key concepts, models and theories of change management
• identify the significance of communication when project changes occur.
• review change from the perspective of staff and management.
• plan and implement the reporting of a development project and understand the significance of assessment of the development project.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student understands the key concepts of organisation theory and can acquire information to develop a technological-artistic organisation. The student recognises and acknowledges diversity in a workplace and is able to apply principles of equality. The student understands the significance of promoting well-being in a work community and is familiar with diversity management. The student is familiar with concepts of induction and training. The student understands key theories of change management from the perspective of different staff groups and communication. The student is able to report the results of a development project.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student knows the key concepts of organisation theory and understands the development needs of a technological-artistic organisation. The student can acquire information to support development work. The student recognises and acknowledges diversity in a workplace and is able to apply principles of equality. The student promotes well-being in a work community and understands diversity management. The student is familiar with the concepts and practices of induction and training. The student knows the key theories and models of change management from the perspective of different staff groups and communication. The student is able to report and reflect on their work.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student masters the key concepts of organisation theory and understands the development needs of a technological-artistic organisation. The student can acquire and apply information to develop a technological-artistic organisation. The student recognises and acknowledges diversity in a workplace and is able to apply principles of equality. The student develops well-being in a work community and is able to utilise diversity management themes in their work. The student masters the concepts and practices of induction and training. The student is proficient in the key theories and models of change management and is able to communicate change to different staff groups. The student is able to report and analytically reflect on their work.
