Learning outcomes
This course will develop students' knowledge of:
- Marketing principles and the role of Sales Management in this;
- The responsibilities of salespeople;
- How marketing is a part of everyone’s work
Content
More specifically, they will appreciate:
• The importance of focusing on customer needs throughout a company;
• How different functional areas in a business interact;
• The difference between tactical and longer term planning;
• Basic marketing concepts;
• The role of selling in the marketing mix;
• The day to day work of salespeople;
• Selection, motivation and evaluation of salespeople.
