Objective
Students are able to combine knowledge obtained from imaging methods and palpation findings. They deepen their competence and apply knowledge and skills of topographic and regional anatomy acquired in previous studies.Student names the anatomical structures of the skull. Students understand the significance of radiological diagnostics to diagnosing and treating illnesses. They have a general view of the use of radiological procedures and their significance to patients’ treatment.
Content
Examination of the size, shape and location of the structures of the human body as well as a detailed examination of the clinically significant areas: microscopy, anatomical dissection, sonopalpation.
Radiology:
Principles of imaging diagnostics (radiography, computed tomography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear scan).
Anatomy of the skull.
Location and time
Dissection (2 days) in University of Turku.

Opintojaksoon sisältyy lääketieteellisiä opintoja:
Radiologia 1 op
Sonopalpaatio 1 op
Jouko Heiskanen
-
