Learning outcomes

The student
• understands the role of operations strategy and how organisations design products, services and processes and how operations are planned, controlled and developed in a sustainable way
• recognises and applies operations performance metrics and improvement approaches such as lean management and quality management

Supply Chain Management or equivalent basic studies

Teaching methods

Lectures will take place at Myyrmäki campus. Online lectures will be announced separately.

Location and time

The course begins on August 27 and concludes on December 10th. Classes will be held weekly on Tuesdays from 08:30 to 11:00, according to the provided schedule. Please note that there may be some weeks off, so students should regularly check the weekly schedule for any updates.

• understands the importance of expertise in business and is able to analyse their own expertise.
