Objective

The student will recognise the importance of urban planning for the sustainability of the community. The student knows the basics of energy production and its importance for the functioning of society. The student understands the importance of sustainable use of clean water and water resources for society.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows the principles of sustainable development. The student knows the concepts of energy and environmental engineering and understands the relevance of the degree in the context of sustainable development.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student knows how the principles of sustainable development are related to energy production and society. The student knows the concepts of energy and environmental engineering and understands the relevance of sustainable development in her/his own field of study. The student will understand the interdependencies between environmental problems and human activities.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to apply the principles of sustainable development to energy production and society. The student is familiar with different approaches to assessing the impact of human activities related to sustainable development. The student is able to analyse the interdependencies between environmental problems and human activities. The student is familiar with the concepts of energy and environmental engineering and understands the relevance of his/her field in the context of sustainable development.
