Objective

The student
• learns about the concepts, processes and methods of service design
• is familiar with the research approach to service design and typical service design process documentation.

• can evaluate the importance of research to the quality of design work

The student
• has full command of the concepts and premises of service design
• can apply the tools and techniques of service design creatively and intelligently
• understands and is able to versatilely evaluate the importance of research in service design to the quality of design work
• can apply the methods of service design documentation and understands its significance for design
• understands the service design process and is able to modify it creatively and appropriately
• can examine the use of prototypes as a part of the design work.
