Objective

The student
• can communicate with images and text on digital platforms
• is proficient in the basics of drawing and layout programs
• is familiar with the different sectors of the field of graphic design
• masters the basics of typographic expression
• can apply the principles of composition and colour theory both in theory and in practice.

Content

• Basic concepts of graphic design
• Basics of typographic expression in a digital environment
• Communicating the desired message visually
• Basics of drawing and layout programs
• Essential elements of composition and image
• Basic colour theories

Contact teaching (in class)
The course has an 80% attendance requirement.
Course date: August 19, 2025–October 7, 2025 (Tuesdays)
