Objective

The students will learn the theoretical fundamentals of counselling. The students will be able to apply the principles of dialogue to counselling.They can plan, implement, and assess counselling work in a goal oriented way listening to the client. The students will be able to offer guidance taking into account individual needs in both individual and group counselling.

Content

Basics of individual, group, and community counselling. Ethical issues in counselling.
Principles of dialogical interaction. Different approaches to counselling.
Different roles in counselling work. Goal-oriented counselling, planning and evaluation in the social context.
Feedback as a part of the counselling work. Reflecting one’s own counselling.
