Objective

On completion of the course the student can
- identify the knowledge, skills and attributes needed for entrepreneurship
- recognize the social importance of entrepreneurship
- set up a business or operate as a light entrepreneur
- basics of copyright
- commercialize their own expertise into a marketable service
- make a business plan

The student is able to define entrepreneurial activity as part of the wider ecosystem of society. They can describe what skills, knowledge and attributes are required from an entrepreneur. They understand what is meant by ethical business. They can make a simple business plan and present it.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to define entrepreneurial activity as part of the wider ecosystem of society. They can describe what skills, knowledge and attributes are required from an entrepreneur. They can develop a business idea, commercialize it with a business plan and present it. They are able to identify opportunities and risks inherent in entrepreneurship. They understand the opportunities and challenges of ethical business. They can independently search for information related to entrepreneurship and apply it to their own activities.

The student is able to define entrepreneurial activity as part of the wider ecosystem of society. They can describe what skills, knowledge and attributes are required from an entrepreneur. They can develop a customer-driven business idea, commercialize it into a business and present it. They are able to analyze business opportunities and risks. They understand the present and future opportunities and challenges for successful and ethical business. They are able to independently search for information related to entrepreneurship and apply it to their own activities.
