Teaching methods
Course Description (First Period of Autumn Semester)
The course is implemented in collaboration between three degree programmes at the Arabia campus. Participants include:
Film and Television students
Cultural Management student group
Fourth-year Music students (instrumental pedagogy, performers, and creative producers)
In addition, all other students whose schedules allow participation are welcome to join the course. The course runs throughout the first study period of the autumn semester. Students are expected to commit to the scheduled teaching times listed below.
Course Content and Objectives
The course focuses on developing new solutions for real-life commission projects based on actual working life needs. Students will work in multidisciplinary teams of approximately 5–6 members, formed at the beginning of the course. Each team will include students from different fields.
At the start of the course, students will be divided into four larger groups of 15–30 students. Each group will have a dedicated instructor (a total of four instructors from film, cultural management, and music fields). These larger groups will then be split into smaller working teams.
At the beginning of the course, each student selects 2–3 preferred project challenges, and efforts will be made to assign them to one of their chosen topics. Projects may relate to areas such as visual content, scriptwriting, music, production, or marketing – covering the entire creative production chain.
