Objective

On completion of the course, the student is able to collaborate with members of the construction site management team. Students understands and are able to recognize how course content emerges in their own and other people’s activities, in which case they can use these in managing themselves and their employees.

1.Basic human needs, well-being at work, sources of motivation and risks
2.Characteristics of organisations, efficient collaboration and interaction
3.Leadership models, supervision and critical situations
4.Best practices of leadership and collaboration on a construction site
5.Employment contracts, working hours and wages
6.Starting and terminating an employment contract

Qualifications

Students are able to evaluate their learning, themselves as a learner and their own strengths as a student. He / she can set goals and make study plans for his / her studies.
On completion of the course the student is familiar with the production techniques related to the main phases of a construction site and can prepare a site area plan and describe how to set up a construction site.
In addition, the student can take into account occupational safety requirements and perform risk management in planning construction phases.
