Objective
The purpose of the course is to strengthen the student’s competence in the development of value-creating services and service solutions using suitable service design methods.
The student knows the key processes and working approaches of service design in health care and social services and is able to apply participatory development methods suited to the purpose. The student masters the principles of successful and value-creating development work. The student understands the crucial role of the client and the importance of client participation in the development of services. The student knows how to design, implement, test and evaluate the development of services in the different stages of the process. The student is able to coordinate service development as a whole as well as development projects.
