Objective

After having completed the course the student knows the juridical, administrative and contentual process of creating a local master plan, its different stakeholders and their mutual interaction. The student understands the meaning of the local detailed plan in the land use planning system, in the guidance of building and in forming the vicinity. The student can use different background studies and reports in the creation of the local detailed plan and analyze the environment under planning. The student can evaluate the impacts of the local detailed plan and take them into account when creating the local detailed plan. The student can create a plan map, symbols and provisions with a city planning software, a participation and assessment scheme, and a plan report, in which the student can reason the made plan solutions.

Content

Required content of the local detailed plan, background studies and reports, creation process, interaction, impact evaluation, the legal consequences, basics of plan economy, municipal engineering and traffic planning, land owner planning, illustration of plans, creation of environmental analyzes, idea sketches, a participation and assessment scheme, a plan report as well as the local detailed plan including plan symbols and provisions with a city planning software

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student masters the taught content only in a satisfactory way, which shows in the average of the grades from the assignments and in the peer evaluation. The student has also participated in the obligatory classes.
