• demonstrates good knowledge of the concepts and basics of service design
• is able to apply service design tools and techniques
• can evaluate the importance of research to the quality of design work
• understands the importance of and is able to produce service design documentation
• masters the service design process

The student
• has full command of the concepts and premises of service design
• can apply the tools and techniques of service design creatively and intelligently
• understands and is able to versatilely evaluate the importance of research in service design to the quality of design work

• can examine the use of prototypes as a part of the design work.
