Student workload

The number of credits for the course is five credits. Computationally, completing one credit requires 27 hours of work. According to this calculation, the total number of hours of the course is 135 hours. The study course has a maximum of 21 hours of remote and face-to-face teaching, which means that 114 hours of the workload are outside of lectures. The number of hours outside of lectures is divided into preparing for lectures (possibly with materials or assignments to be read in advance), reading course material, preparing an essay, homework and a presentation. Based on these hours, you will be able to estimate what kind of effort is expected of you in course work and how the workload of the course compares to other courses.

The workload measurement is indicative of the average workload needed to achieve the learning objectives of the course and a grade of 3/5. Depending on the student's previous skills and experience, the amount of work may be less or more. The competence acquired in the course is evaluated through assignments and other achievements, not by the number of hours completed.
