Objective

The students will identify the contributory factors to human well-being. They will understand the importance of inclusion and the sense of community to human well-being. They understand exclusion and being disadvantaged as an individual, a community based and a societal phenomenon. The students are able to distinguish between the structures and processes that cause exclusion in a society. The students identify ways to prevent exclusion.

Content

Contributory factors to well-being and social integration. Social risks and problems at different stages of life. Socio-pedagogical means for supporting participation and preventing exclusion.
