Objective

- understand the role of the individual as a member of the work community and as a component of well-being at work
-understand the importance of interaction, continuous learning and sharing of competence for the wellbeing of the working community
- obtain the capacity for self-management, self-direction and development of internal motivation
- recognize the importance of occupational well-being for the individual and organization
- are able to set goals and choose ways to develop well-being at work both at individual and organizational levels
- are able to evaluate the economic effects of occupational well-being at individual and organizational level
- are able to take care of the impact of the working environment on well-being at work
-understand the importance of physical load and are able to take action to reduce it
-work as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve the ergonomics of their work
-recognize aspects of well-being at work in oral health care

OSA 4. Itsensä johtaminen terveysalalla ja suuhygienistin työssä
OSA 5. Työhyvinvoinnin kehittäminen

Kaikkien osien sisältöjä käsitellään suun terveydenhuollon näkökulmasta.

Further information

The student confirms his/her participation in the course by being present at the beginning of the first lesson or by agreeing on it with the teacher in other ways.

Approved course requires active presence and attendance to all parts of the course.
Compulsory attendance in all lessons and practice. Students responsibility is to take care of her/his own accomplishments and replace the absence from lessons.
