Objective
The student knows the basic concepts and terminology of 3D graphics and is familiar with the basics of modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering. The student is able to post-process images and animations produced with 3D software and combine them with photos and video.

Teaching methods
Kurssilla perehdytään 3D-animaation perusteisiin ja animointiin.
Opintojakson osaamistavoitteet:
Opiskelija tuntee 3D-grafiikan peruskäsitteet ja terminologian sekä osaa mallintamisen, teksturoinnin, valaistuksen ja renderoinnin perusteet. Opiskelija osaa jälkikäsitellä 3D-ohjelmalla tuotettuja kuvia ja animaatioita sekä yhdistää niitä valokuviin ja videoon.

- mallintamisen, teksturoinnin, valaisun ja renderoinnin menetelmät

The student masters the basic concepts and terminology of 3D graphics, as well as models, textures, illuminates and renders high-quality images and animations. The student is able to produce 3D content for different publication channels.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student masters the basic concepts and terminology of 3D graphics and creatively applies modeling, texturing, lighting, animation and rendering tools. The student is able to produce high-quality 3D content for various publication channels.
