Objective
After completing the mathematics part of the course, students will understand the concept of derivatives and be able to use derivatives to determine the rate of change of a function and to sketch the graph of a function. They understand the concepts of integral function and definite integral. They are able to use the most common methods of integration and to calculate the definite integral numerically. The students can apply integral calculus in practical situations and are able to visualise and interpret statistical data.
Content
