Objective
The student:
• understands the importance of nutrition for health and well-being as well as for the prevention of many diseases.
• recognises and reflects on their own eating habits and relationship with food.
• becomes familiar with healthy eating habits and food choices and learns to make responsible choices also in terms of the environment.
• understands the importance of psychological factors such as flexibility, self-compassion, and positive thinking in the development of a natural relationship with food.
• learns to solve their own challenges by reflecting and to set appropriate goals
• adopts eating skills suitable for them
• obtains practical tools and an understanding of their own relationship with food and knows how to make health-promoting and sustainable choices.
Content
During this self-paced online course, the students familiarise themselves with the materials and complete independent reflection assignments and participate in joint discussions. The course covers the importance of nutrition in terms of individual well-being and health and that of the environment. The latest nutritional recommendations are used as a basis. During the course, the students learn about the factors that affect their relationship with food and learn to recognise and understand potential challenges in their own eating habits. Through self-examination and reflection, the students explore how to promote their own nutritional health - with the most important attitudes of positivity, flexibility and enjoyment of food.

Students can:
