The student knows the current discussion and the trends of research in the field of museology and is able to analyze it from the point of view of conservation. The student understands the problematic nature of museum collection disposal and the discussion connected with significance. The student is able to identify the problems of collection disposal and can apply the theoretical significance and value framework in his/her own work.

The student knows the basic concepts of museology and latest trends of research of this field. The student recognizes the debate and challenges concerning collection management. The student understands the challenges concerning collection disposal.

The student understands the basic concepts and theory of museology and is able to take part in the current museological discussion from the point of view of conservation. The student understands the problems of collection disposal and museological discussion concerning significance and is able to apply gained data and theoretical framework in his/her own work.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student understands in-depth the current discussion and trends in museology and is able as a specialist of conservation to take part and evaluate it from the point of view of his/her special field of conservation. The student has deep understanding of the problems concerning collection disposal and the meaning of significance discussion. The student is able to apply gained theoretical framework in his/her own work and bring out the point of view of her/his own field in conservation.
