Objective

The Students
• identify and plan solutions to the development needs or problem areas in working life and in their field
• apply their professional skills and suitable methods and work methods in their development work
• are able to obtain and process the necessary information from different sources in their professional field

Content

• learning the thesis process
• identifying current development needs in the field and work life cooperation
• justified choice of work methods
• workshops
• drawing up an idea paper and a viable work plan and presenting them at a seminar
• contract and permit practices
• peer guidance and feedback
• acquiring, processing, applying and conveying information and reading scientific texts in Finnish and English

Qualifications

- Methods in Research and Development Work: 5 ECTS
- Professional Communication and Project Competence 5 ECTS
- Gerontological Research and Development in the Work of Bachelors of Social Services and Health Care 5 ECTS
