Objective
The Students:
• recognise the importance of the environment as part of rehabilitation
• are able to describe the possibilities of distance rehabilitation and multidisciplinary home rehabilitation in the individual rehabilitation process of an older person
• identify the opportunities offered by human-driven gerontechnology in elderly care and in the daily life of the elderly
• are able to look at gerontechnology issues from an ethical point of view
• are able to explain the importance of housing changes and assistive tools in supporting living at home

• multidisciplinary and cooperative rehabilitation
• distance rehabilitation operating models
• ethical review, usability and accessibility of gerontechnology
• user-oriented gerontechnology
• the process with assistive equipment
• environmental accessibility, safety and features supporting occupational performance
• planning and modification of the home and operating environment
