The Students

• are able to explain the most common geriatric and neurological diseases and syndromes
• are able to describe the key objectives of treatment and rehabilitation
• identify the importance of research data and recommendations in the planning of treatment and the setting of objectives
• are able to explain the links between brain function and human activity
• are able to explain the most common brain disorders for older people

• basics of pathophysiology
• overall geriatric evaluation, the most common geriatric diseases, syndromes and pain conditions, their research, diagnosis and treatment;
• elderly psychiatry
• neuropsychology
• memory disorders, their diagnosis and medication
