Objective
The student:
- understands the structure and functional principles of the musculoskeletal system, particularly in relation to upper limb function
- identifies the bones of the body as well as the key muscles of the trunk and lower limb
- identifies the muscles of the upper limb and describes the function of the joints and muscles in the upper limb and shoulder region.
Content
Anatomical planes, directions and movements?
Bone tissue, joints, skeleton, details of bones of the upper limb?
Muscle tissue, muscle function?
Structure and function of the upper musculoskeletal system?
Superficial muscles of the lower limb, abdominal and back muscles?
