Objective

The student

• is familiar with the legislation applying to early childhood education, the documents guiding early childhood education and the service system
• understands the overall planning of activities guided by the National Core Curriculum for Early Childhood Education and Care and their own social pedagogical expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team
• is familiar with the quality and assessment-related factors of early childhood education.
