Objective

Students are able to present and analyze diverse patient cases and make clinical judgments based on the anamnesis and the current status. They are able to make a differential diagnosis and plan the examination based on the optometry's examination recommendations. They are able to to justify the eye tests they use and presents the results clearly. Student are able to analyze symptoms and results and compare them with normal conditions. They understand the patient's problems and needs. They are able to justify the solutions and treatment plans. They are able to describe the risk factors and the prognosis in different cases.

Qualifications

The prerequisite for this course is the successful completion of a valid course of study in accordance with the curriculum in force, where the student has demonstrated sufficient knowledge and skills in the following subjects: Professional studies and practicals of previous semesters including examination for children and low vision patients.
