Objective
The student
• is able to select appropriate methods of functional capacity assessment as a basis for planning physiotherapy, taking into account the individual psychophysical situation of the rehabilitated person and their loved ones, the stage of rehabilitation and the operating environment
• is able to plan and, if necessary, modify exercises and guidance, with a focus on physiotherapy that enables decision-making and participation of the rehabilitated person and people close to them
• is able to recognise changes in the functional capacity of the person, especially in the case of functional impairment, and will be able to modify their activities according to the resources of the rehabilitant
• understands the principles of sustainability, in particular social sustainability, in the physiotherapy operating environment
• deepens their reflection on their own competences and actively build up their own competences and use them as part of a multidisciplinary approach
• uses research knowledge to advance their own competence and to develop neurological physiotherapy
• deepens their clinical reasoning skills and is able to combine previously learned physiotherapy content into a set of competences serving practical work.
Content
• Assessment of functional capacity, physiotherapy planning, exercises and guidance appropriate to the stage of rehabilitation to promote the participation of the rehabilitated person
• Physiotherapy as part of multidisciplinary work
• Strengthening the sense of capability of the rehabilitant with special needs/severe disability and people close to them in questions and decisions related to their own ability to function
• Assistive devices, technological solutions and the environment that promote the rehabilitant's ability to function and participation as part of the implementation of therapy
• Implementation of physiotherapy taking into account the individual situation, stage of rehabilitation and environment of the rehabilitated person
• Digital solutions in rehabilitation
• Research knowledge and reflection on own competences in the development of neurological physiotherapy
• Clinical reasoning as part of holistic physiotherapeutic examination and follow-up
