Objective

The student
• can describe the factors affecting the respiratory and cardiovascular health of the client and can promote respiratory and cardiovascular health
• knows how to assess the respiratory and cardiovascular function of the client and plan and implement evidence-based physical therapy to promote that functioning
• is able to interpret the examination results related to the respiratory and cardiac health of the client and to assess the client's functioning
• is able to plan and implement physiotherapy for cardiac clients with different levels of risk at different stages of rehabilitation
• is able to apply planetary health and sustainable development thinking in the context of promoting respiratory and cardiac health.
