Objective
The students are able to perform the basic HVAC installations and to calculate the need for materials for the installation. The student is able to describe the corrosion and damage mechanisms occurring in building technical pipelines, pipe fittings and devices and their prevention methods.
Content
Installation methods for piping, ventilation and refrigeration systems. Materials, supplies and jointing methods. Support and compensation. Equipment connections. Implementation of piping, ventilation and refrigeration systems in connection to other building services systems. Calculations of quantities for HVAC systems. Corrosion and damage mechanisms of the water and sewer pipes and closed heating-cooling and LTO pipelines, pipe fittings and equipment and their prevention methods.
