Objective

Student
- knows the public health nursing process in school and student health care
- can assess the growth and development of young people and support their well-being on the basis of evidence and in accordance with national recommendations
- can identify and support the empowerment of pupils, students and their families
- identifies the need for special support and is able to refer to additional support services
- can encounter clients and members of the work community in a work environment, respecting diversity and equality
- is able to work as expert of public health nursing in a multidisciplinary school and student work community
- is able to plan, implement and evaluate independent reception work
- is able to prevent environmental health risks in a school and educational institution environment

Content

Supervised nurse training in school or student health care

Qualifications

Theoretical studies corresponding to the practice environment: Work Methods of a Public Health Nurse, Advanced Vaccination Competence and Public Health Nursing in School and Student Health Care.
