Objective

Students are able to explain the main features of the structure and function of the internal organs. They can describe how visceral functions and the state of equilibrium of the body are regulated. They are able to explain the principles of sensory functions. Students use foreign professional terminology.

Students are able to describe the factors regulating the functioning of the body and their effects on the organ systems.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Management of the foreign terminology is at least 90 % of what is demanded.
Students use foreign professional concepts widely and expertly for example when answering essay questions
Students identify anatomical structures and explain their function by analysing connections between structure and function.
Students are able to describe the mechanisms of regulation of the body’s function and analyse the regulation effects on organ systems and inter-organ cooperation.
