Descriptions

The aim of the degree programme in Mechanical Engineering is to provide students with the skills to work in the field of mechanical and metal engineering related to machine design and aircraft engineering.

The studies emphasise practical orientation, user-centred approach, learning by doing, problem-solving, cooperation skills, in-depth knowledge of professional subjects and internationality. The optional courses support multidisciplinarity and ensure that graduates have a solid expertise in their field and are able to apply this expertise in practice.

The programme's specialisation options are:
• Aircraft Engineering
• Machine Design

Development

The curriculum is developed in cooperation with working life. The Advisory Board of Mechanical Engineering accepts the curriculum.
