Objective

The student knows the basic concepts and terminology of 3D graphics and animation and is familiar with the basics of modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering and animation. The student is able to post-process images and animations produced with 3D software and is familiar with importing 3D models into real-time rendering engines.

- Terminology and applications of 3D graphics and animation
- Methods of modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering
- Basic concepts, tools and methods of 3D animation
- 3D animation rendering and post-processing

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is familiar with the basic concepts and terminology of 3D graphics, and knows the basics of modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student masters the basic concepts and terminology of 3D graphics, as well as models, textures, illuminates and renders high-quality images and animations. The student is able to produce 3D content for different publication channels.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student masters the concepts and terminology of 3D graphics and creatively applies modeling, texturing, lighting, animation and rendering tools. The student is able to produce high-quality 3D content for various publication channels.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student is familiar with the basic concepts and terminology of 3D graphics and knows the basics of modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering.
