Internship 1 - Social Service Work in the Client’s Everyday LifeLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

The students are able to function in accordance with the socio-pedagogical orientation. They can appropriately support and guide the every-day activities of both individuals and groups The students are interacting with the clients in the operational environment of social services. The students can act as members of a work team. The students act in a goal oriented manner and can evaluate their activities. The students can act in situations, where emergency medical care is needed.

Content

Internship in the operational environments of social services. The internship in the early education path must be conducted in the environment of early education. Includes emergency aid.

The students have completed the course: Introduction to Social Pedagogy
