Descriptions
Sustainable management in social and health care aims to maintain and promote high-quality and effective services. It is an essential part of the transformation in social and health care, with the goal of providing fair, efficient, and long-lasting services. Sustainable management considers both current and future needs in accordance with the principles of sustainability, taking into account the social, ecological, and economic context. Sustainable management ensures that services are available to all who need them and are economically and ecologically sustainable. It emphasises humanity, client-orientation, and consideration of individual needs. It requires continuous improvement, learning from mistakes, innovation, and the development of new operating models. Sustainable management is a holistic approach that affects the organisation's operations in the long term. Applying the principles of sustainable management requires commitment and continuous development.
