- Acquire and critically analyze information that affects the current situation as well as the future,
from the perspective of various fields.
- Utilize the information necessary for processing changing operational environments in developing

their own work and reflect the new possibilities rising in their own work surroundings.

- Basics of futures thinking
- Megatrends included in the course seek to mirror ongoing developments in the field of cultural
management.

The student observes cultural phenomena from the perspective of the futures reserach using key
terms. The student is able to utilize future thinking in practice and identifies the role of interdisciplinary
work in futures work. The student understands the connection between future research and strategy work.

The student is able to analyze cultural phenomena from the perspective of the futures reserach
using key terms. The student is able to use literature and appropriate methods and tools to understand the
multidisciplinary professional future of the cultural field. Student are able to apply future research in strategy work.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Student is able to utilize different perspectives of future research as part of their professional development work taking advantage of multiciscplrinary and multi professional approach. The student is able to combine and apply different tools to support phenomenal based futures thinking.

Osaamistavoitteet:
-Opiskelija osaa hankkia ja arvioida nykytilaan ja tulevaisuuteen vaikuttavaa tietoa kriittisesti ja eri
alojen näkökulmista.
-Opiskelija pystyy hyödyntämään muuttuvien toimintaympäristöjen käsittelyyn tarvittavaa tietoa

Opiskelija havainnoi kulttuurialan ilmiöitä tulevaisuuden näkökulmasta ja osaa käyttää
tulevaisuuden tutkimuksen avaintermejä. Opiskelija kykenee hyödyntämään tulevaisuusajattelua käytännössä ja tunnistaa moniammatillisen toiminnan roolin tulevaisuustyössä. Opiskelija ymmärtää yhteyden tulevaisuuden tutkimuksen ja strategiatyön välillä.

Opiskelija kykenee analysoimaan ilmiöitä tulevaisuuden näkökulmasta käyttäen tulevaisuuden
tutkimuksen avaintermejä. Opiskelija osaa hyödyntää kirjallisuutta ja käyttää sopivia metodeja ja työkaluja kulttuurialaan liittyvän moniammatillisen tulevaisuuden ymmärtämiseksi. Opiskelija osaa hyödyntää tulevaisuuden tutkimusta strategiatyössä.
