Objective
Students will master the principles of strategic and operational management, especially from the perspective particular to social work management; and be familiar with quality management systems, knowing how to apply them in their work community or organisation. They will know the basic principles related to financial and HR management from the perspective of service processes. Students know the basic principles of rational decision making theory.
Content
Strategic leadership in the centre of organisational operation. Quality management systems as tools for organisational development. Understanding financial management and administration. Service operations management in social services. Rational decision making.

Management and development in the field of social services:
• masters the principles of strategic and operative management and knows how to apply them to management in practice
• is familiar with management systems, understands their meaning and knows how to apply them to work community/organisation
• develops services and the activities of work communities by participatory actions.
