Objective
The purpose of the course is to deepen the student's research and development skills and prepare the student to plan, execute and assess research and development projects by using different types of methodological approaches.
Learning outcomes:
• The student is capable of planning research and development projects choosing appropriate research methods.
• The student has deep insights in the science philosophical grounds of the selected methodological approaches and respective methods.
• The student is able to present the outcomes of her/his research in a valid form and manner for the methodological approach.
• The student is able to analyse quantitative and qualitative data.

• The student is able to present the outcomes of her/his research in a valid form.
• The student is able to apply principles of quantitative and qualitative data analysis to a given data set and interpretate it.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
• The student is capable of planning research and choosing appropriate research methods.
• The student has insights in the science philosophical grounds of the selected methodological approaches and respective methods and she/he can argument on them.
• The student is able to present the outcomes of her/his research in a valid form and manner for the methodological approach.
• The student is able to apply principles of quantitative and qualitative data analysis to a given data set, and to report and interpret it with the manner typical to the analysis method.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
• The student is capable of planning research and choosing appropriate research methods.
• The student has deep insights in the science philosophical grounds of the selected methodological approaches and respective methods. He/she is able to creatively argument one’s personal methodological choices based on those.
• The student is able to present the outcomes of her/his research creatively applying the form and manner of the chosen methodological approach.
• The student is able to apply principles of quantitative and qualitative data analysis to a given data set and report and interpret it innovatively with the manner typical to the methodological approach and analysis method.
