Objective
Students identify and know how to evaluate important development projects for the benefit of work sector and for clients using services. They master the foundations and basics of research and development and they are able to apply them critically to the research and development measures in their field of study. Students are able to critically search, evaluate and justify knowledge based on research and professional practices of their field of study. They are able to practice critical thinking and they master the basics of concept and theory formation. Students’ understand the significance of the concept of knowledge to research and development. Students’ actions are based on good research and development ethics.

Further information
During the course students will train scientific research data search and critical evaluation of research article. All train will be integrated to the development needs of occupational therapy and working life in Finland.

Students use the appropriate core concepts as well as make choices using the knowledge base of their own professional field. They recognise the prerequisites and consequences of their own actions.

Students analyse the relationships between appropriate core concepts as well as justify their choices using the knowledge base of their own professional field. They analyse the prerequisites and consequences of their own actions.
