Objective

Anatomy of the musculoskeletal system 3 cr.

Students are familiar with the structure and functions of the musculoskeletal system. They are able to analyse limb movements and muscle action in relation to occupation and task performance. Students understand the impact of biomechanics on occupational performance.

• Bones, joints, muscles and their functions, with focus on upper extremity muscles
• Basic structure and functions of the musculoskeletal system
• Impact of musculoskeletal functions on occupation and health
