Objective

Students deepen their previously acquired skills in identifying anatomical structures and practising them. They familiarise themselves with mobility and sensing motor control by means of ultrasound. Students learn to identify basic bone structures from x-rays and assess the risk factors of physiotherapy and the possibilities for treatment as part of patients’ rehabilitation.

Content

Technical basics of imaging; ultrasound, x-rays, diffusion tensor (DT) imaging and MRI
Indications and contraindications for imaging
Interpretation of data; anthropometrics and topography
Use of ultrasound in targeting therapeutic exercise
