Objective
The objective is to familiarize students with the overall development of different genres of the arts, their specific features and main means of expression, and the connection between genres with regard to the genres selected for this course.
The student will learn to recognize the different means of expression and genres of art, to analyse works of art and to place them in the framework of social and sociological developments of their own period. The student will be familiarized with the literature of various genres of art and the manner in which the media discusses art.

Student is familiar with different genres of the arts, can recognize the different means of expression and genres of art and knows the manners of media when discussing the arts.

The student can compare and analyze in high standard the means of media when discussin the arts, different genres of art and artefacts in the framework of social and sociological context with help of literature.
