Objective

The student will master the basics of building wet areas, fireplaces and saunas and will know the regulations set for these areas. He/she will understand the functions of different building parts.The student will be able to plan and place HVAC and water and electricity equipment in fixtures and will be able to understand the placing possibilities for different frameworks and constructions.The student will be able to design bathroom, toilet and sauna areas and wiil be familiar with the requirements set for damp proofing.

The student will be able to compile floor plan, projection and cross-section of a small building using computer-assisted design.
